Efficient Manufacturing | Roche Energy Boosts SPIC’s Independent Energy Storage Project

State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC)’s independent new energy storage project is located in Binhai County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. It is constructing a 200MW/400MWh lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system. As a significant supplier for this project, Roche Energy is sparing no effort to accelerate production to ensure the rapid progress and smooth commissioning of the project, contributing to the optimization and upgrading of the national energy structure.

First off the line

On March 22nd, Roche Energy’s first 1P104S battery module PACK successfully rolled off the production line. This PACK consists of 104 pieces of 280Ah lithium iron phosphate square aluminum shell cells connected in series. Internally, it is equipped with key components such as BMS system, high-voltage connectors, liquid cooling plate modules, fixed structural components, and fire alarm modules. These components endow the battery module PACK with protection functions including overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, insulation, short circuit, and overtemperature. Additionally, it possesses the capability of structural fixation and rapid connection to external connectors for charging and discharging. This innovative design not only enhances the overall performance of the battery module PACK but also establishes a new technological benchmark for Roche Energy in the field of new energy storage.

Advanced Process

To ensure great consistency, low internal resistance, and superior charge-discharge performance of the battery module PACK, while guaranteeing product quality and production efficiency, Roche Energy has adopted a series of advanced production processes. These processes include a high-reliability OCV detection system, industry-leading BUSBAR welding technology, intelligent screw tightening stations, and precise dispensing processes. With these leading-edge technologies, Roche Energy has successfully advanced the battery module PACK into the precision manufacturing stage and efficiently completed the production tasks for the SPIC’s Binhai project. Efficient Manufacturing

According to the established plan, Roche Energy is vigorously advancing its production schedule to ensure the completion of all 4720 battery module PACKs and a total of 59 containers of energy storage systems by April 10th. While maintaining efficient operation with daily double shifts on both automated and manual production lines, the company continuously optimizes production processes and enhances equipment automation levels to maximize production efficiency.
