Located in Ganyu Hi-Tech Zone, Lianyungang, Roche Energy’s 10GWh new intelligent energy storage system manufacturing project is advancing at an amazing construction speed to become the flagship new energy storage system integration factory under Shanghai Shenyi Roche Energy Technology Co. Since the project started on February 14th, the new factory is expected to be put into operation in the early summer of May, representing the “Roche Speed”, with the support of the local government departments’ attentive services and the efficient execution of the project’s construction partners.
By March 20, the main steel structure and floor paving of the plant had been completed. The roof installation was nearing completion, and every task node was being advanced in an orderly manner. The ground in the southeast, northeast and northwest was ready for the next equipment installation and production. Meanwhile, construction of the exterior roads is well underway, with water-stabilized roadbeds to the north and east completed and asphalt to be laid next Monday. In addition, the northern stockyard and rotary yard have been completed, which is crucial for the storage of raw materials and the transfer of products.
The total investment amount of this project is 300 million yuan, with an area of 123 acres. The first phase of the project is planned to renovate the existing 12,600 square meters standardized plant in Ganyu Hi-Tech Zone, build a 30ppm automated production line, and introduce an intelligent MES system, which has a number of industry-leading capacity advantages:
- One-stop product solution, seamless connection from core on-line to container off-line;
- Compatible with multiple products on line at the same time to improve production efficiency;
- 1P104S large Pack batch customized production line, downward compatible with all kinds of air-cooled and liquid-cooled products.
Lianyungang is an important energy port in China, with superior logistics conditions and a convenient transportation network. The location of the project in Lianyungang will not only expand the production capacity of the energy storage products, but also reduce the logistics cost, which will be conducive to the export of the products, enhance the competitiveness of Roche Energy in the international market, and lay a solid foundation for the development of the global market.
The factory in Lianyungang will enter full-scale production in June. By then, it will establish two major manufacturing bases in Suzhou and Lianyungang, greatly enhancing Roche Energy’s production capability and deliverability in industrial and commercial energy storage systems and source-side energy storage systems. It aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 30GWh of integrated energy storage system products by the end of 2024. This move demonstrates Roche Energy’s ambitious spirit and confidence in rapid growth.
